Why choose Smith’s cold finger buffets?

Our savoury buffet catering are not “set”. Clients are welcome to cherry pick from any menu to create your own selection. In addition, you can add items from the savouries and snacks page; just give us 48 hours notice instead of the usual 24 hours.

Orders are made fresh every day using ingredients sourced direct from London’s markets at Spitalfields, Smithfield and Billingsgate.

Prices do not include VAT.

Orders by 12:00 noon the previous working day (Friday for Monday delivery)

Minimum order: 10 of any one buffet.

Disposable platters and lids: Charged £1.50 each.

Delivery charges: Calculated according to postcode

Collection charges: Only apply if we have to return and pick up equipment or unused beverages.

Call us to design your menu for any themed events. We recently created a different European menu each day for a 5 day conference with 300 guests per day. British, Spanish, French, Greek and Italian cold buffets were served over the week

Clients are more than welcome to visit our kitchens on Mile End Road, Whitechapel, by appointment. You can see the environment in which your food is prepared and stored prior to delivery and our Head Chef will be happy to prepare tasting samples.

We are one of the few catering companies London to offer free, comprehensive advice when planning functions. With advice on the type of catering best suited to your event, plus staffing, beverages, equipment hire and locations.

At Smith’s, we have a have strong catering background with over thirty years experience office catering London for a wide variety of clients with a varied list of bespoke requirements. A few examples: canapés for the opening night of Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre, hot and cold fork buffets for the opening and closing ceremonies London 2012 Olympics, cold finger buffet for VIP guests following HM the Queens visit to Lister School in Plaistow.

Each of these jobs were bespoke, with menus, staffing, drinks and equipment hire organised by Smith’s after site visits and discussions with the clients.
