Hot fork buffets
By adding a starter (from our fine dining menus) we can provide a three course meal with table service, if a more formal setting is required.
All hot fork buffets menus are prepared to order daily in our East London kitchens. Meals are delivered in special, insulated containers keeping the food above 72c for up to 6 hours. We supply the chaffing dishes for our trained staff to transfer the meals into and serve from.

Hot fork buffets – FAQ
Order: 48 hours notice required by 12:00 noon, 2 working days prior to the event. For example, order Friday for Tuesday deliveries
Hot fork requirements: You will require chaffing dish hire and at least one professional butler or chef, depending on numbers and menu choice
Minimum order: 10 of any one dish. Except vegetarian and vegan options or other special diets meal.
Delivery and collection charges: Calculated by postcode.
Drink delivery: All drinks are “sale or return” and wine glasses are free of charge.
Dietary requirement: Smith’s Catering will cater for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diets. For any other special dietary requirement please give us a call, we will be more than happy to help you.
Smith’s are one of the very few catering companies in London with its kitchens in the heart of the city. This gives us easy access to London’s wholesale markets at Billingsgate, New Spitalfields and Smithfield, where we buy the majority of our ingredients. It also ensures a reliable delivery service to city clients.
Since moving to our custom built kitchens in 2008, our menus, both hot and cold fork buffets, have proved to be firm favourites with City companies as well as clients based in Canary Wharf, East London Tech City and Soho. With the aid of our excellent couriers, we cover all London postcodes for daily deliveries.
